“GO YOGA” – ENERGISE, REJUVENATE, RELAX,
Yoga means union with the body, mind and everything around you. Yoga reminds me that everything is connected so we must live, act, breathe with awareness.
It is a lifestyle that you explore yoga outside of your mat as well.
Yoga offers up a way for us to see a world that is working for you instead of against you. Practicing posture increases your strength, endurance and energy levels, whilst strengthening weak or under-activated areas of the body. Feel the benefits both physically and mentally with practical techniques to connect your body and mind. Yoga is suitable for everyone, no matter your experience, age, strength or flexibility.
Yoga is a collection of physical and mental practices with a 5,000-year history in ancient Indian philosophy. Different styles of yoga combine different techniques which are most often physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or relaxation.
“GO Yoga” CLASSES
MINDFUL YOGA: Involves a set of physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques, practiced slowly and with more static posture holds. The practice focuses on feeling the body and breath awareness. Relaxation or meditation is usually at the end of a class.
FLOW YOGA: Incorporates dynamic movement through a series of asanas, by which the student experiences a sense of fluid physical motion alongside breathing, relaxation and meditation exercises.
GENTLE YOGA: Created to be accessible to all types of students to support their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. Gentle yoga is slower practice that seeks to provide modifications to common yoga poses helping to maintain flexibility and mobility in the joints. This class invites you – gently – to slow down and go inward. It encourages you to completely relax in the pose, and it is beneficial for stress relief.
ENERGY YOGA (QI): It is a more active class and combines yoga postures, meditation, breathing, meridian exercises and qigong flows to generate energetic outcomes and promote the circulation of QI (life force). Classes help keep the body and mind healthy by focusing on stress reduction, increasing concentration, and boosting the immune system. It is great practice for those who need to move the body or have a bit of challenge.
